Golf
Among the vast majority of professional and amateur golfers, differences in the levels of technical skill are becoming increasingly negligible. There are, however, significant differences across golfers in how developed they are in their mental game. Without a inner game that is rock solid in the areas of focus, emotional regulation, imagination and commitment––great feats of technical execution will be less of an edge when compared to the competitor who can execute equally well, but knows how to remain in FLOW.
Recent developments in sports psychology and neuroscience that have to do with peak performance are gradually revealing the inner sanctum of golf: giving golfers real opportunities to radically transform their game. Return to Flow is an invitation to golfers to increase the priority they give to the mental game.
